Chat pile c’est une cuillère à soupe de Sonic Youth, une pincée de Ministry, une cuillère à café de Joy Division et le résultat est très très bon !!

More refreshing than a Mountain Dew during a blood sacrifice to Quetzalcoatl on your favorite solstice, this record brings back all the ghosts of your married friends’ singles days to hang out with one more time before they have to go home for dinner. Dustin Meredith

It's a lot like Botch, but grimmer and heavier, less whimsical - all of which is fine with me. Usually I'm not a fan of "sounds like" deals, but (a) this is very, very well done, and (b) I have sorely been missing the punishing angular mathcore that set the turn of the millennium alight. The production here is fantastic, with modern power, but not so compressed that it sands off the oh-so-vital edges. fyeahmetal
Fans of Polvo, take note! The excellent Kansas City band Abandoncy has the same fondness for corkscrewing riffs & melodies. It’s great! Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 28, 2022
An expansive release of 51 tracks (with a sweet Deerhoof cover of Madonna's "Live to Tell") to benefit a Hurricane Maria relief agency. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 25, 2018

This record is like a soundtrack to Joseph Campbell levels of apotheosis you never knew existed. Life gives you very few perfect albums, and yet this is one of them. I still get chills listening to it after all these years, & leaves me speechless in describing the experience. All I can say is you shouldn’t let this one pass you by. The call to adventure lies within. Dustin Meredith
